This is the homepage for Communication 418 for Spring 2004. This page is the starting place for the website, which encompasses materials and resources essential to the course. As this is the likely the first place you go every time you access the website, I will use this page to update you on the latest developments or reminders for the course and then transfer the prior text to the News link archive so you can access all course messages there when needed.

The course is a hybrid onsite-online course, and this website works in concert with the classroom segments of this course. I recommend that you bookmark this page if you are using a computer at home and memorize the webpage address if you are using a campus lab computer. You will be using this website at least several times a week to access readings, assignments, exercises, and grades. BE SURE TO RELOAD/REFRESH THIS PAGE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION! Check the date at the top of the page, as I plan to update this page at least once per week.

By the way, I prefer that graduate students call me Patrick. I'm glad to have you in seminar!
